Great experience!! Jorge is a charming person that welcomes and makes you feel at home, while explaining all the bits and tricks of this marvelous art of transforming ocean water into beautiful salt crystals. An experience that you must have while visiting the Algarve.

Quem ama a boa mesa só cozinha com este sal! Adoro a flor de sal pérola, perfeita para as minhas experiências culinárias e para as minhas conservas Guarda 21! Sem poluição, retirado à mão,é o sal perfeito, rico em minerais!

This was a wonderful experience. You can see and feel the passion Jorge has for the artisan craft of traditional fleur de sel harvesting. Jorge was the perfect guide. He was warm, inviting, and very knowledgeable, not only of the present day harvesting but the history of it and the history of the area. He was very open to answer any questions we had and was very easy to talk to. I felt we learned a lot of the world of salt harvesting because of the knowledge and expertise of Jorge. He went above and beyond with all aspects of the tour and tasting. Thank you so very much!!

Lovely experience learning about salt and getting to taste the different options. Jorge is such a great host and clearly knows so much about salt that we were excited to learn all we could from him. Salmarin were great at accommodating our dietary needs for the experience, and we ended up buying lots to take home. The chilli blend was our favourite. If you get a chance, make the trip here, and you will be buying salmarin salt for the rest of your life.
